There are seven kind of a sentence.

1) Positive/Affirmative/Assertive

2) Negative

3) Interrogative

4) Negative & Interrogative = N/I

5) Imperative

6) Optative

7) Exclamatory

1=Positive sentence

Example

I am student

You are beautiful

I am coming

2=Negative sentence

Example

We are not eating

3=Interrogative sentence

            Are you students?
            Yes we are.
            No we are not.

2) Informative sentence

Example
            What are you?
            We are students.

4=Negative + Interrogative sentence

          was she not going

5=Imperative sentence

Example
          Open the door
          Please, Bring a glass of water
                             Or
         Bring a glass of water, Please
         Don’t come here
        Close the door

6=Optative sentence

Example
            May God Protect you from evils eyes.
            May God gives our teacher long life.

7=Exclamatory sentence

Example
         what a beautiful girl is!
         How old this woman is!
         Would you elder sister were here!
        Alas! She has died
